Associate
An Associate member is anyone over 21 years of age who loves the art of magic and wants to enjoy the amazing benefits of having The Magic Castle as their Clubhouse. Many of our Associate Members are professionals in the entertainment industry, but many are simply those who wish to enjoy our unique club. You do not need to be a magician to join as an Associate member. However, the Academy of Magical Arts does provide Magic Classes for adults wishing to learn the art of magic.
All applicants are required to have a current member of the Academy of Magical Arts sponsor in order to join.

Magician
Magician membership is a yearly membership designed for anyone over the age of 21 who considers themselves a Magician and actively practices magic either as a hobby or a career. Also, as a Magician member of the Academy, you will have access to our world-famous library and will be invited to attend any other Magician-only lectures, perks, and functions throughout the year not available to any other class of membership.

An audition is required for anyone interested in joining the club as a Magician Member. Applicants must have one Magician Member of the Academy who has seen them perform what they plan to audition and sponsor their membership. Non-Resident applicants (those who live 60 miles or more from our the Magic Castle) must also audition for membership. The audition will be a Zoom meeting and must provide the Audition Committee with information regarding their background in magic, and links to unedited performances for review. Please note that the review process may take up to two months to complete. Once a determination is made on your acceptance as a Non-Resident Magician member of the AMA, you’ll be notified by our Membership Department promptly.
