The Academy of Magical Arts offers magic classes
for adults 21 and older. You do not need to be a member
of the Academy of Magical Arts to enroll.

Essential Classes Lessons in Conjuring Series

Our courses cater to anyone looking to advance their skills in magic. We have divided our material to allow aspiring magicians, and even professional performers, to find the perfect level to fit into. We recommend that beginners enroll in our Introductory Magic (level 1) class. Classes are held once per week for two hours each session. Each level lasts 6 weeks total (pending holidays/events). Enrollment fees include all necessary materials and supplies. Unless otherwise noted, the schedule is as follows:
Weekday evening classes - 7:30pm to 9:30pm
Saturday morning classes - 11:00am to 1:00pm
Saturday afternoon classes - 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Sunday morning classes - 11am to 1:00pm
Sunday afternoon classes - 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Please note: Enrollments may be cancelled or changed until 14 days prior to the class start date. If you are purchasing classes as a gift, it is your responsibility to inform us of the recipient name either during checkout or by emailing Late cancellations, transfers, name changes, etc. cannot be accommodated after the cancellation/change cut-off date. Provides a foundation for magic, which will familiarize students with basic effects and how to handle props.
Designed to utilize strategies and effects learned in the previous level to build each students' magic repertoire and gradually become more comfortable with magic principles and effects.
Expect to learn more intricate effects than the prior level as instructors introduce increasingly difficult effects. Students will continue to work toward finding their unique style and approach to how they perform.
Learn some of the industry's most advanced magic techniques and effects, many of which are regularly performed by professional magicians. Students will have the opportunity to perform what they have perfected for the class and experience positive critique sessions.

Specialty Classes Special Guest/Rotating Series

Specialty classes are available for those who prefer to focus on specific styles of magic. Some courses we have offered include Cards with Rich Cowley, Coins with Rich Cowley, Street Magic with Tom Frank, Ropes with Phil Van Tee, Dollar Store Magic with Kayla Drescher and Mentalism with Jheff.

Occasionally, two-day classes are made available. Past examples include weekend seminars with Roberto Giobbi and R. Paul Wilson, and School for Scoundrels with Chef Anton, Pop Haydn, and Bob Sheets.
