Magic Castle Junior Society: About Us

The Junior Group, or at least the idea for one, came to Diana Zimmerman while talking at the main Castle bar with several other members. She decided that the Castle had the facilities to provide an environment to enhance the magic of young followers. The Board of Directors approved the group and auditions were held. 25 of the 175 applicants were accepted and they became the first members of the Magic Castle Junior Society.

From then on, the group has grown to feature "Future Stars Week" at the Magic Castle as well as making a prominent showing at major competitions around the world. Some of our more renown members, such as Danny Cole and Joel Brock, have been featured on Lance Burton TV specials. ABC television aired a feature on the Junior Group as a segment on a Saturday morning kid's show "Kid's View". Recently many of our members have been on The Gong Show on the Game Show Network and have done very well!
