The goal of The Academy of Magical Arts, Inc. and The Magic Castle is to maintain
a prestigious place in the world of magic as an organization and private club.
This is achieved, for example, by their annual choice of magicians to receive
the Academy of Magical Arts, Inc. Awards, which are presented to performers,
writers and creators throughout the world as a recognition of excellence in
advancing the art of magic. The Academy also sponsors select talented individuals
to the triennial worldwide magic competition at FISM (the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques) and maintains one of the world's finest libraries on the
conjuring arts containing countless secrets of master magicians set down through
the ages in books and on video.
